The Animals of HorsePower for Kids, Oldsmar, Florida

Hello everyone, I have some really fun images to share with you today! This past weekend I had the opportunity to ride a horse through a beautiful trail that went through the woods and to the water and back to a magical place called Horse Power for Kid Inc. in Oldsmar, Florida. Here is their website:http://horsepowerforkids.com/?page_id=204  The above photo is me getting ready to go on my ride. My friends and I had a wonderful time on our ride. Horse Power for Kids not only has horses, but many other animals as well. When we came back from our trail ride there was a peacock waiting for us posing with its beautiful display of feathers. The mission of Horse Power for Kids from its website is “to serve inner-city children, at-risk children, and any child that could benefit from riding, learning about, and loving horses. We offer special programs and events for inner-city and at-risk children, as studies show that interaction with horses can improve self-esteem, character, work ethic, social skills, and academic performance.”

They also have a camel there, and yes you can take a short ride on it if you like! In this picture it seems to be kissing my hand! All of the animals there were so friendly and fun, there was an endless amount of positive energy there! The were having a special event there which also featured live music by the small lake there, it was just a wonderful day! In this photo you can also see the little train that runs around the property.

The rest of the photos in this post are all of the amazing animals I encountered on my visit. You can visit them too-Horse Power for Kids is open Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm and admission to see the animals is just $5! You can find more information about trail rides and other events/programs on their website.

The photo above is Snowy, the horse I rode.

Cute!! But yet there is more cuteness to come!

This last one is probably my favorite image of the day, love the combination of these 2 sweet animals!

This little lamb was only about 1 day old!

In the last photo the parrot seems to be checking his watch to see what time it is lol! As you can see there are many fun animals to see at Horse Power for Kids. I had a great time and will be back for sure! Horse Power for Kids is located at 8005 Race Track Road South, in Oldsmar Florida.
